Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum (2018) is the warmer, rounder middle child of the Sauvage line: it keeps the Calabrian bergamot-and-Sichuan-pepper opening of the EDT but swaps the bright ambroxan-vetiver drydown for a softer, sweeter accord built on star anise, nutmeg, lavender, ambroxan and a touch of vanilla, giving it an oriental-fougere feel rather than the EDT's stark fresh-spicy signature. The important honesty note for clone hunting: the overwhelming majority of 'Sauvage dupes' the community praises (Armaf Ventana, Dossier Aromatic Star Anise, ALT Farouche, Lattafa Fakhar) actually target the EDT, while the darker/sweeter clones (Lattafa Asad, Salvo Elixir, Maison Alhambra L'Aventura) target the Elixir. The EDP sits in between and has comparatively thin dedicated clone consensus. The one line specifically formulated and repeatedly discussed as a Sauvage EDP clone is Maison Alhambra's Salvo family. Salvo Intense is the strongest readily-available EDP match (users report ~90-95%, becoming very close after the first couple of hours), while the base Salvo carries the same EDP-style note pyramid but is lighter, smoother and read by some as EDT-leaning. Caveats across both: a harsh, synthetic first ten to fifteen minutes that improves with maceration, and softer projection/longevity than the (already-reformulated, weaker) current Dior. Beware listicle mispairings - at least one popular article names Lattafa Fakhar Black as the 'best Sauvage EDP dupe' when it is actually a YSL Y EDP clone.
