Armani Privé Rose d'Arabie (2010) is a rich unisex Damascus rose wrapped in oud, saffron, honey, labdanum and creamy vanilla — smooth and velvety rather than the sharp 'rubbery' rose-oud typical of the genre. It is a niche cult favorite, so the clone scene is thinner and less consensus-driven than for mass designer scents; there is no single universally-agreed 1:1 clone. The most repeatedly-named community alternative is Al Haramain Madinah (a cheap alcohol-free perfume oil), which reviewers compare side-by-side and call very close (a touch sweeter, slightly less deep oud). Lattafa Velvet Rose is the most-cited spray alternative, praised for capturing the rose/labdanum/patchouli heart at a fraction of the price. Al Rehab Oud & Rose is a very cheap CPO mentioned as broadly similar.
