Baklava Royale is a real 2023 Navitus Parfums extrait de parfum composed by Bertrand Duchaufour, marketed unisex and retailing around $195. It is an ultra-realistic baklava gourmand: orange blossom and Italian bergamot on top; honey, pistachio and grilled/roasted almond in the heart; amberwood, Madagascan vanilla and Brazilian tonka bean in the base. Navitus is a niche house (not a clone house), so here it is the original being duped. Dedicated dupe consensus is thin: no multi-thread Reddit/forum discussion with specific side-by-side scent comparisons, so this is not a heavily-vetted community pick. The single strong, verifiable alternative is Dua Fragrances' 'Honeyed Nuts Baklava', which the house itself labels as inspired by Baklava Royale and lists with a note-for-note identical pyramid at 33.33% extrait for ~$55 — a reliable pairing because the clone house declares the inspiration directly and reproduces the exact notes. A second listing, Bujairami 'Pistachio Drama', appeared on an aggregator as 'inspired by Baklava Royale' but was dropped: the pairing is single-source (the URL now 404s), has no independent corroboration, and its notes diverge substantially (rose, cardamom, pink pepper, cinnamon, patchouli). Other baklava-themed releases (Gulf Orchid Baklava Bite, Kheir Beirut Baklava, Maison Eau de Couture Baklava Al Sultan, Rook Baklava Musk) are independent dessert fragrances sharing only the concept, not dupes of this specific Navitus release. Confidence is moderate: the one clone is a clean, note-matched, house-declared reconstruction, but it lacks the independent community-comparison backing that would make it high-confidence.
