Oajan is a warm, sweet-spicy honey gourmand from Parfums de Marly's Royal Essence line (2013, by Shyamala Maisondieu): cinnamon, honey and osmanthus over benzoin, labdanum, ambergris and artemisia, drying to vanilla, tonka, patchouli and musk — cozy, resinous and boozy-sweet rather than an oud scent, best in cold weather. Despite the niche price (~$250+), it has spawned a small but well-defined clone landscape. The community's clear front-runner is Fragrance World's Legion, marketed openly as an Oajan interpretation and repeatedly cited on Fragrantica Fragram entries and TikTok/YouTube comparisons as a faithful, strong-performing cinnamon-honey take. The newer Nusuk Fawah Midnight Edition (2025) has quickly gained traction in YouTube reviews as an even closer, near-identical match.
